What doesn't kill you

My hip hurts from where I fell and hit the concrete.
My back hurts from being crouched over for a long period of time.
My ankles and feet hurt from skating.
I'm exhausted.

People say that when you get older, things start to get achy. I'm not older, so I'm no expert on the subject. I keep telling the 40+ crowd that they're full of shit, I'm going to live forever, and as long as I keep myself in shape, being over 40 won't matter. I think being over 40 is an excuse for a lot of people...heck I think it starts around 30. They look at the little aches and pains and they think that its "because they're getting older", and then they use that as an excuse to not push themselves harder. Its BS.

All those pains that I mention...I would have said the same thing after a night of hockey when I was 20, and honestly, there's no way I'd rather feel. Every ache reminds you that you pushed yourself to the limit.

My skills aren't where they were when I was 20, but I haven't been on skates in 6 years, and I haven't handled a puck in at least 4. By the end of the night, a lot of my skills were coming back, in a couple weeks I should be back up to game speed which is good cause that's when the league starts.

The NEPA area increased in personal popularity by about 4 bazillion percent now that there will be steady hockey games twice a week.
